The more film work I do, the more I fall in love with the craft. It was fantastic partnering with director Isaiah Headen of Les Joueurs Photography once again to create this video lookbook. I can't believe this is our fifth fashion film together...I can't wait to do more! This flick features five fun and feminine looks that are perfect for hot summer nights. Where would you wear these outfits? Felecia Gray of BTH artistry performed her bewitching beauty magic with gorgeous hair and makeup. My wardrobe styling looked splendid on stunning model Angela Sipper from T.H.E. Artist Agency. Photographer extroidinaire Michael Woodward captured the lovely looks as well as brilliant behind the scenes footage. As always, I enjoy hearing from you all so do comment below. I'd love to know what you think! Join us on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram to check out all of the behind the scenes action and if you like this post, don't forget to subscribe today. Now, without further ado, please enjoy the 'Summer Lookbook' film and stills.

This flirty flannel ensemble was inspired by the Jeffrey Campbell Lula platform boots (now on sale!)I just love the palette of camel, leopard, and maroon. The plaid and the stud details balance the sweet look with a hint of grunge. Pair everything with a mohair cardigan and gray tights as the weather gets cooler. Where would you wear this outfit?

It's Labor Day which means that sadly, sunny season is officially fleeting. It can be difficult to say goodbye. Ease your separation anxiety with a healthy dose of flower power from "Pink Saturday". This fashion film by Queen of Preen & Les Joueurs is a celebration of summer in coral swirls and blushing florals. Shooting this project was a wonderful experience. The location was idyllic and complete with sailboats, wildflower fields,  and fluttering butterflies. Everyone had a lot of energy despite the sweltering heat. I was excited to feature an authentic vintage wardrobe from the sixties and seventies thanks to Pretty People Vintage. Makeup artist Kiah Jones created a fresh, youthful look pairing dewy skin with pink lips. Our model Kristin was a stupendous sport for letting me style her in fully-lined, long-sleeved dresses in triple digit weather--all while requiring her to move constantly. By the way; she can hula-hoop for 77 minutes straight! Please enjoy the film, our literal sweaty labor of style and love. Check out our Facebook page Queen of Preen, for a look behind the scenes at our Pink Saturday shoot.

I worked with a great team over the weekend on a fashion editorial in DC. Here is a glance behind the scenes of our "City Siren" pre-fall photoshoot with model Allyson Biersack, photographer Eman El Saied and makeup artist, Erica Basha. Stay tuned for BTS video and many more images from the shoot!
